  The Co-S distances in the title compounds, [Co(C4H7N2O2)2(C9H13N)(C(6)H(?)5S)] and [Co(C4H7N2O2)(2)- (C9H13N)(C7H7OS)], are 2.2800 (8) and 2.2885 (15) Angstrom, respectively. The electron-donating substituent on the para position of the arylthiolate lengthens the Co-S bond.
