Abstract The present investigation reports, the novel synthesis of nanoparticles Ni and NiO using thermal decomposition and their physicochemical characterization. The nanoparticles Ni powder have been prepared using [bis(2-hydroxyacetophenato)nickel(II)] as precursor.
