A series of novel N '-tert-butyl-N '-3,5-dimethylbenzoyl-N-aryloxyoxalyl-N-4-ethylbenzoyl hydrazines containing a carboxylic acid or ester substituent on the aryl were synthesized, and their larvicidal activities were evaluated.
