The reaction of an alcohol with a trialkyl phosphite in the presence of pyridinium bromide perbromide and triethylamine afforded the phosphoric triester in good yield, which can be transformed to the phosphoric monoester or diester. The method was applied to selective phosphorylation aiming at a convenient of phosphatidyl myo- inositol derivatives.
