    摘要:
    Absorption, luminescence excitation and emission spectra of nine compounds from 4,8,4'-tri-methylpsoralen, 4,4'-dimethylangelicin, and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydrocarbazole series with various terminal substituents were studied in water and 2-propanol. Proceeding from the data obtained in the present and also some previous studies we have formulated the main rules concerning a general mechanism of changes in the fluorescence characteristics of DNA-specific dyes depending on their chemical structure, substrate properties, and measurement medium.

    A new procedure was developed for the synthesis of 8-alkoxycarbonylangelieins by base-catalyzed cyclization of ortho-acyl(hydroxy)coumarins with haloacetic acid esters. The procedure was successfully applied to prepare a series of new 8-alkoxycarbonyl- and 8-acylangelicins.

    Acrolyl furochromen-2-ones (3a-i) obtained in good yields on microwave irradiation of furochromen-2-one (1) with various,simple and substituted aromatic aldehydes (2a-i). 3a-g on cyclo dehydration with thiourea in domestic microwave oven furnished tetrahydro thiaxopyrimidine furochromen-2-ones 4a-i in high yields. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were established on the basis of analytical and spectral data, IR, and H-1 NMR.

    The disclosure relates to aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonists as well as methods of modulating aryl hydrocarbon receptor activity and expanding hematopoietic stem cells by culturing hematopoietic stem or progenitor cells in the presence of these agents. Additionally, the disclosure provides methods of treating various pathologies, such as cancer, by administration of these aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonists. Additionally, the disclosure provides methods of treating various pathologies in a patient by administration of expanded hematopoietic stem cells. The disclosure further provides kits containing aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonists that can be used for the expansion of hematopoietic stem cells. The disclosure further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds and methods of treating or preventing a disease in which aryl hydrocarbon receptor plays a role.
