  据报道，从铜绿微囊藻EAWAG 251中分离并鉴定了三种新的杂环和大环肽，balgacyclamides A–C 。通过2D-NMR方法和质谱法确定组成，并且在使用臭氧后，通过使用Marfey方法的HPLC-MS方法以及使用真实标准品的GC-MS，进行臭氧分解和水解后，确定构型。Balgacyclamides A和B在低微摩尔范围内对恶性疟原虫K1有活性，同时对大鼠成肌细胞毒性低。
