A synthesis of novel 2-iminooxazolidineswas developed by the reaction between arylcyanamides with p-benzoquinone at room temperature under ultrasound irradiation in excellent yields. Also, the chemoselective tosylation of the products were performed at room temperature under ultrasound irradiation in good yields. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
