4-Disubstituted-5,6-dihydro-4H-1,2,4-oxadiazine-5-ones were obtained from the reaction of substituted benzamide oximes with chloroacetyl chloride. The thionation of these compounds gave the corresponding 5-thiones. 3,4-Disubstituted-1,2,4-oxadiazole-5(4H)-thiones were obtained from the reaction of substituted benzamide oximes with thiophosgene.
