  A radiation-emitting organic-electronic device is specified. The radiation-emitting organic-electronic device includes a substrate, a first electrode arranged above the substrate, a light-emitting layer arranged above the first electrode, and a second electrode arranged above the light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer includes a fluorescent compound of a specified formula A. The spacer comprises a linear molecular chain to which two substituents R and R′ are terminally bonded, and at least one group E bonded to the linear molecular chain, wherein E denotes hydrogen and/or an organic radical. The linear molecular chain of the molecules of the fluorescent compound is aligned parallel to the plane of extent of the substrate.

  Redoxites poly(2,6-diphenyl-4-vinylpyran), poly(2,6-diphenyl-4-vinylpyrylium perchlorate), poly-(2,6-diphenyl-4-vinylpyridine) and poly(2,2',6,6'-tetraphenyl-gamma,gamma'-dipyridine) were obtained based on pyrylium salts. Poly(2,2',6,6'-tetraphenyl-gamma,gamma'-dipyridine) was transformed into the polyene to improve its film-forming and conducting properties. Electrochemical properties of polyviologen and conductive properties of the obtained polymers were studied.

  The efficient synthesis of mono- and dinuclear Os(IV) bipyridyl complexes is reported. These compounds show a two-step oxidation process leading to notable structural changes, which are reflected in their emission properties. During the second oxidation process a tetracation with a hydride-dihydrogen structure (instead of a trihydride) is formed. This results in a significant bathochromic shift of the emission band, accompanied by a moderate increase in intensity.
