Abstract Molybdenum(VI) complexes composition [(μ 2 -O) 2 (MoO 2 ) 2 (H 4 L) 2 ]⋅2A (where H 4 L = H 4 slmh; A = H 2 O (1), pyridine (py, 2), 2-picoline (2-pic, 3), 3-picoline (3-pic, 4), 4-picoline (4-pic, 5)) have been isolated in solid state from the reaction of MoO 2 (acac) 2 and disalicylaldehyde malonoyldihydrazone in 1:1 M ratio in ethanol at higher temperature.
