  本发明公开了一种制备头孢美唑钠的方法，该方法以7β-二氯乙酰胺基-3-（1-甲基-1H-四唑-5-巯甲基）-3-头孢烯-4-羧酸三乙胺盐为初始原料，经过硅烷化，卤化，甲氧化，二次硅烷化制得7β-氯乙酰胺基-7α-甲氧基-3-（1-甲基-1H-四唑-5-巯甲基）-3-头孢烯-4-羧酸，然后对其进行扩链反应，经过成酸成盐，得到头孢美唑钠。本发明制备头孢美唑钠的方法具有收率高（55~65%），产品纯度高，利用7β-二氯乙酰胺基-3-（1-甲基-1H-四唑-5-巯甲基）-3-头孢烯-4-羧酸三乙胺盐代替7-MAC为起始原料，原材料来源方便、价格低廉，对环境友好，产品纯度高，适用于工业化生产等优点。
