    A novel and effective route for the synthesis of 1,3'-bipyrrole derivatives by multisubstituted olefins with TosMIC was developed. Moreover, the synthetic protocol was simple and the reaction conditions were mild. A possible mechanism was proposed. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
