One-pot three-component reactions of arylaldehyde or salicylaldehyde with malononitrile (or ethyl-cyanoacetate) and triethyl phosphite are carried out in the presence of ethylenediamine diacetate (EDDA) as a catalyst for the synthesis of biologically interesting beta-phosphono malonates and 2-amino-4H-chromen-4-ylphosphonate derivatives. The value of this method lies in its mild reaction catalyst and conditions, good yields, and ease of handling. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

The design and development of a nano heterogeneous catalyst for the direct addition of P(O)-H bonds across various alkylidenes under solvent-free conditions is described. This is a mild, rapid, and efficient protocol to generate P-C bonds. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
Iron-doped single walled carbon nanotubes as an efficient and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of organophosphorus compounds under solvent-free conditions
Iron-doped single walled carbon nanotubes (Fe/SWCNTs) is an efficient, eco-friendly, and reusableheterogeneouscatalyst for the synthesis of diversely decorated α-aminophosphonates via multicomponent reaction of amines, carbonyl compounds, and phosphorus compounds undersolvent-freeconditions. This methodology illustrates a very simple procedure, with wide applicability, extending the scope to aliphatic
