Synthesis of a series of half-sandwich Ru(II) complexes (1-5) containing acylthiourea ligand is reported herein. All the Ru(II) complexes were well characterized by analytical and spectroscopic (UV-Vis, FT-IR, NMR and mass spectrometry) methods.
