Synthesis of Neutral Spin-Delocalized Electron Acceptors for Multifunctional Materials
摘要:
A new synthetic route to stable spin-delocalized radicals, annelated nitronyl nitroxides, has been developed on the basis of the condensation of benzofuroxan with aryl nitrones. The electronic structure of the resulting radicals was investigated through absorption spectroscopy, EPR, electrochemistry, and computation (DFT-UB3LYP). The annelated radicals exhibit electronic transitions in the near IR (850-900 nm) and are excellent electron acceptors (E-red similar to 0.0 vs SCE) ideal for the development of multifunctional magnetic materials.
A gold catalyzed enantioselective [3+2] dipolar cycloaddition of N-allenyl amides with nitrones was developed to give chiral 4-alkylidenyl isoxazolidine derivatives in high yields and excellent enantioselectivities by using BINOL derived chiral phosphoramidate Au(I) catalysts.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a modified polymer that significantly reduces heat build-up due to the modification when the modified polymer is formed into a rubber composition, a rubber composition containing the modified polymer, and a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition is used. The modified polymer of the present invention is a modified polymer obtained by modifying a styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) with a nitrone compound (B). In the modified polymer, the content of styrene units in the styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) is 10% by mass or greater, and the proportion of vinyl bonds among all the double bonds contained in the styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) is 5 mol % or greater.
