phenoxide have produced both the mono- and disubstitutedderivatives SF5NC(Cl)OR and SF5NC(OR)2. The monosubstituted derivative SF5NC(Cl)N(C2H5)2 was the sole product produced in a 2:1 molar reaction of diethylamine with SF5NCCl2. Further reaction of this chloroimine with diethylamine gave the disubstitutedderivative SF5NC[N(C2H5)2]2. Other mixed disubstituted compounds SF5NC(R)N(C2H5)2, where R=CH3

AbstractEs wird über die Synthesen von [(F5SN = CCF3NC)Cr(CO)5], [(F5SN CC3F7CN)Cr(CO)5] und [F5SN C(NCCr(CO)5)2] berichtet. Die Struktur des letztgenannten Komplexes, triklin, P1, a = 640.70(10), b = 1197.5(2), c = 1423.5(2) pm, α = 92.560(10), β = 96.410(10), γ = 99.710(10)º, Z = 2, R1 = 0.512, wR2 = 0.1533, konnte durch eine Einkristallröntgenstrukturanalyse bestimmt werden. Die homologe Verbindung [F5TeN C(NCCr(CO)5)2] ist thermisch instabil und kann nicht in Substanz erhalten werden.

The perfluorinated tertiary amines (SF5)2NCF3 [1], (SF5)2NC2F5, and (SF5)2NC3F7 have been prepared by the following scheme. Their overall yields were found to decrease markedly with respect to increases in the length of the perfluoro- alkyl chain. In fact, attempts to prepare (SF5)2NC4F9 have been unsuccessful thus far.
