The reaction of ethenetetracarbonitrile with the appropriate (trifluoromethyl)anilines leads to (3-trifluoromethylanilino)-, (4-trifluoromethylanilino)-, and [3,5-bis(trifluormethyl) anilino] ethenetricarbonitrile.
