umbrella-like donor-acceptor system (GDPA-QCN) based on a bulky dendritic donor (umbrella head) and a liner heterocyclic acceptor (umbrella handle) has been developed. GDPA-QCN shows strong sunlight absorption and efficient solar-thermal conversion properties in the solid state and was employed to fabricate a high-performance water purification and electricity generation system.
