    Bleach particles encapsulated in a single coat of paraffin wax, the wax having melting point of 40 to 50°C and needle penetration value of 10 to 60 mm at 25°C. The coat comprises 35 to 55% by weight of the particle and may be from 100 to 1,000 microns thick. The coat prolongs the time in which chlorine bleach particles encapsulated therewith may remain active in aqueous environments. The encapsulated particle is made by spraying molten wax on to the particles in a fluidized bed. Liquid or powder cleaning compositions, particularly automatic dishwashing liquid detergents, may incorporate 0.1-15% of the single coat wax-encapsulated bleach particles.

    Solid core particles encapsulated in a single coat of paraffin wax and a small amount of a wax additive, the wax having a melting point of about 40 to about 50°C. The paraffin coat may comprise 20 to 90% by weight of the particle and may be from 100 to 1,500 microns thick. The coat provides improved stability and prolongs the time in which particles encapsulated therewith may remain active in aqueous environments. The encapsulated particle is made by spraying molten wax onto the particles in a fluidized bed. Liquid or powder cleaning compositions, particularly automatic dishwashing liquid detergents, may incorporate 0.01 to 20% by weight of the composition of the coated wax-encapsulated particles.

    In general, the present invention is directed to a building panel, such as a gypsum board, comprising a core having a first side and a second side opposing the first side and at least one facing material having a coating comprising at least one fungicide, at least one polymeric binder, and at least one pigment. The panel satisfies at least one of the following: the board exhibits a rating of 2 or less when tested in accordance to ASTM G21-15 or the board exhibits a rating of at least 8 when tested in accordance to ASTM D3273-16. The panel may also exhibit at least a Level 3 finish.

The active material is preferably a perfume and the composition provides a controlled-release scent, along with controlling malodor. Methods of reducing or removing malodor from a surface having malodor comprise the step of contacting the surface with a malodor-controlling composition comprising microcapsules containing an active material and an odor control agent.

Suitable optional ingredients include plasticizers, solvents, odor control agents, aerosol propellants, surfactants, microcapsules containing an active material, perfume, preservatives/antimicrobial actives, wrinkle control agents, and the like. Preferred optional ingredients include plasticizers and/or odor control agents. Articles of manufacture for reducing airborne particulates from surfaces comprise an aqueous composition comprising a particulate-controlling polymer and aqueous carrier, the composition being contained in a package and information in association with the package to instruct a consumer to reducing airborne particulates by contacting a surface with the composition.
