  硝基甲烷安全地用作C1亲核试剂，用于两性PS-PEG树脂负载的膦-钯络合物在水中钯催化的π-烯丙基取代。在水作为单一反应介质的非均相条件下，使用5 mol％钯的PS-PEG树脂负载的钯-咪唑并吲哚膦络合物在水中实现了环烯基酯的催化不对称硝基甲基化，得到了光学活性高达ee达98％的旋光性（环烯基）硝基甲烷。
