    A toner for developing electrostatic images contains toner particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant as well as a fine powder comprised of base particles on which crystalline low resistance tin oxide films are formed. The crystalline low resistance tin oxide contains less than 100 ppm of antimony, arsenic and phosphorus, and has an oxygen deficiency structure. The toner is excellent in strength and can consistently give high quality images under any environmental conditions.

    A thermoplastic laminate film containing a thermoplastic substrate film and a layer formed from a resin composition containing a polyester graft copolymer (A) and a resin (B), the layer being formed on at least one side of the thermoplastic substrate film, the polyester graft copolymer (A) being obtained by grafting at least one polymerizable unsaturated monomer, which contains an acid anhydride having a double bond, to a hydrophobic polyester resin, and the resin (B) containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane resin, an acrylic resin and a vinyl resin. The adhesion improving layer of the inventive thermoplastic laminate film shows superior adhesion strength in a broad range of applications. Specifically, it is evident in an ink layer of printing ink, UV ink and the like ; an adhesive layer in dry laminate and extrusion laminating ; a thin film layer obtained by vacuum vapor deposition, electron beam vapor deposition, sputtering ionic plating, CVD and plasma polymerization of metal or inorganic substance or oxides thereof ; an oxygen moisture absorbent layer ; an organic barrier layer ; an ink jet image receiving layer and the like.

    The invention discloses a polylactic acid-based resin composition composed of a high molecular ingredient (A) comprising polylactic acid (a1) and an aliphatic polyester (B), and a film, particularly an inflation film, prepared from the resin composition. The film comprising the polylactic acid-based resin composition of the invention is biodegradable and excellent in flexibility and resistance to blocking of film and bleeding-out of plasticizer, has no anisotropy in tear strength, and can be suitably used for an agricultural multi-film and garbage bag. When the film of the invention is used for food wrapping, the film prevents fungus growth and contamination of color or odor, and thus can be suitably used.

It is desired to incorporate into polylactic acid mica and a carbodiimide compound as an additive for suppressing hydrolysis of polylactic acid. Further, the biodegradable resin composition is subjected to aging by heating and desirably further using an electromagnetic wave or the like to suppress rapid lowering of the storage elastic modulus, and the biodegradable resin composition is used as a material for household electric appliances and housing materials.
