Cu(II)/Mn(III)-mediated synergistic radical N-heteroannulation reaction of [60]fullerene with N-sulfonylated o-amino-arylmalonates has been developed for the direct and efficient construction of [60]fullerene-fused tetrahydroquinoline derivatives.
