We report in this paper a new route for the synthesis of 4,4â²,4â²â²-tricarboxy-2,2â²:6â²,2â²â²-terpyridine. This synthetic pathway has a lower ecological impact with respect to yield, atom economy, solvent and chemicals used and wastes generated when compared to a previously reported method. In addition it uses furfural, which can be obtained from renewable sources. The title compound can be used to prepare complexes that are valuable for applications in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells.
本文报告了一种合成 4,4â²,4â²â²-三羧基-2,2â²:6â²,2â²â²-三吡啶的新方法。与之前报道的方法相比,该合成途径在产率、原子经济性、所用溶剂和化学品以及产生的废物方面对生态的影响较小。此外,它还使用了可从可再生来源获得的糠醛。该标题化合物可用于制备在染料敏化太阳能电池中具有重要应用价值的络合物。
