The invention relates to new insecticidal compositions consisting of one or more insecticidally active substances and one or more certain phospholipides in addition to standard vehicles, diluents, solvents and/or other inert auxiliaries, the ratio by weight of the mixture of insecticidally active substances to the phospholipide or mixture of phospholipides amounting to between 1 : 0.2 and 1:20. The invention also relates to processes for controlling insects using these compositions and to processes for their production.

Sulfamic acid has been proved to be the most efficient and recyclable catalyst in carbamate synthesis from alkylamine and dialkyl carbonate. High selectivity, cost-efficiency and simple product separation were the advantageous features obtained in this process. Sulfamic acid could be reused several times and keep its initial activity in the recycle runs.
