Abstract Four members of the series of anhydrous thallium(I) n -alkanoates with medium chain-length ( n -octanoate, n -nonanoate, n -undecanoate and n -tridecanoate) have been prepared, purified, and studied by differential scanning calorimetry between 200 and 500 K.
