    An olefin (co-)polymer composition including 0.01 to 5.0 weight parts of high molecular weight polyethylene which is an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene-olefin copolymer containing 50 weight % or more of an ethylene polymerization unit; and 100 weight parts of an olefin (co-)polymer other than the high molecular weight polyethylene, wherein said high molecular weight polyethylene has an intrinsic viscosity [ηE] of 15 to 100 dl/g measured in tetralin at 135°C or more, and said high molecular weight polyethylene exists as dispersed fine particles having a numerical average particle size of 1 to 5000 nm.

    A thermoplastic laminate film containing a thermoplastic substrate film and a layer formed from a resin composition containing a polyester graft copolymer (A) and a resin (B), the layer being formed on at least one side of the thermoplastic substrate film, the polyester graft copolymer (A) being obtained by grafting at least one polymerizable unsaturated monomer, which contains an acid anhydride having a double bond, to a hydrophobic polyester resin, and the resin (B) containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane resin, an acrylic resin and a vinyl resin. The adhesion improving layer of the inventive thermoplastic laminate film shows superior adhesion strength in a broad range of applications. Specifically, it is evident in an ink layer of printing ink, UV ink and the like ; an adhesive layer in dry laminate and extrusion laminating ; a thin film layer obtained by vacuum vapor deposition, electron beam vapor deposition, sputtering ionic plating, CVD and plasma polymerization of metal or inorganic substance or oxides thereof ; an oxygen moisture absorbent layer ; an organic barrier layer ; an ink jet image receiving layer and the like.

    A polyester resin comprising a polyester resin chip (A) and a polyester resin fine particle (B) which has the same composition as the (A) and which passes through a 10.5 mesh screen in a proportion of 0.1 - 300 ppm, wherein a cyclic trimer increases in a proportion of not more than 0.30 wt% upon melting at a temperature of 290°C for 60 minutes; a polyester resin characterized in that a cyclic timer increases in a proportion of not more than 0.30 wt% upon melting at a temperature of 290°C for 60 minutes, and the contents of Na, Ca, Mg and/or Si in the polyester resin is 0.001 - 5 ppm and the total of these contents is not more than 10 ppm; and production methods thereof. According to the polyester resin of the present invention, mold such as stretch blow mold, heat setting mold, vacuum forming mold and the like are less stained in sheet forming, bottle forming and the like, so that forming can be continued for a long time to easily produce a multitude of formed articles with superior transparency. As a result hollow articles having superior transparency and heat resistance of the finish part can be obtained.

    A high molecular weight polyethylene prepared by preliminary polymerization is added at the time of main polymerization of an olefin, for example, propylene, to prepare an olefin (co)polymer composition comprising the above high molecular weight polyethylene finely dispersed as fine particles in the polyolefin, such as polypropylene, and a cross-linked structure is formed in the olefin (co)polymer composition. This process can provide a modified olefin (co)polymer composition improved in the strength in a molten state in terms of melt tension or the like and in crystallization temperature and excellent in moldability such as high-speed producibility and a molded modified olefin (co)polymer composition excellent in properties such as heat resistance and rigidity.

    The present invention provides a process for producing a crystal nucleator composition comprising; a first step pulverizing 95% by mass or more of a crystal nucleator ingredient containing one or two or more kinds of specific compounds to a primary particle diameter of 0.8 µm or smaller with a dry medium-stirring type pulverizer; and a second step mixing and pulverizing the pulverized crystal nucleator ingredient obtained in the previous step and a metal aliphatic carboxylate ingredient containing one or two or more kinds of specific metal aliphatic carboxylates. Also provided is a crystalline polymer composition comprising a crystal nucleator composition obtained by the production process.
