    A solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, which is obtained by reacting the following compounds (a), (b) and (d), or the following compounds (a), (b), (c) and (d), (a) a halogen-containing titanium compound, (b) an alkoxylated magnesium compound, (c) a halogen-containing silicon compound, (d) electron-donating compound(s) represented by the following general formula (I) and/or general formula (II),    wherein n is an integer of 2 to 10, each of R1 to R8 is a substituent having at least one element selected from carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, halogen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, boron or silicon, any substituents of R1 to R8 may together form a ring other than a benzene ring,    wherein each of R9 to R12 is independently a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group, or an arylalkyl group, having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, provided that the total sum of carbon atoms of R9 and R10 is 3 to 40.

Dans cette dernière, R1 est un groupe alkyle C1-C20 linéaire ou ramifié, alkényle C3-C20, cycloalkyle C3-C20, aryle C6-C20, arylalkyle ou alkylaryl; R2 est un groupe alkyle linéaire C1-C20, alkényle linéaire C3-C20, aryle C6-C20, arylalkyle ou alkylaryle; R3 et R4 sont indépendamment sélectionnés dans le groupe se composant d'alkyle C1-C3, cyclopropyle, à condition que lorsque R1 est un alkyle ou alkényle C1-C4 linéaire ou ramifié, R2 soit différent de R1. Lorsqu'ils sont utilisés dans la polymérisation des oléfines, et en particulier, du propylène, ces catalyseurs assurent un grand rendement et peuvent donner des polymères insolubles dans le xylène.
