  Platinum complexes of the general formula: (wherein a) R, and Rz are the same and each represents a halogen atom or N03; or b) R, is SO4 and Rz is H2O; , or c) R1 and R2 together represent or a glucuronate moity), the configuration of the 1-aminomethyl-2-aminocyclohexane being selected from trans-1, trans-d, cis-1 and cis-d have been found to exhibit antitumour activity together with low toxicity and are thus of potential interest as medicament.
