This paper describes a highly efficient, microwave‐assisted, Conia‐ene reaction of alkynes bearing a stabilizing carbon nucleophile. A chiral iron(III)salen complex based on a cis-2,5-diaminobicyclo[2.2.2]octane scaffold catalyzes asymmetric Conia-ene-type cyclization of alpha-functionalized ketones containing an unactivated terminal alkyne and produces an exo-methylenecycloalkane possessing a stereodefined quaternary center.
