  4-Oxoazetidin-2-yl benzoate was resolved efficiently by an inclusion complexation with a chiral host compound, (R,R)-(-)trans-4,5-bis(hydroxydiphenyl,methyl)-1,4-dioxaspiro[4.5]decane.
