ABSTRACT Reported is an efficient synthesis of adenyl and uridyl 5′-tetrachlorophthalimido-5′-deoxyribonucleosides, and guanylyl 5′-azido-5′-deoxyribonucleosides, which are useful in solid-phase synthesis of phosphoramidate and ribonucleic guanidine oligonucleotides.
