  From crystalline [Li(µ-OCBut2CH2PMe2)2]2[Li(µ-OR)2] the following crystalline pentane-soluble derivatives have been obtained: ROH 1[T[graphic ommitted]R)2] and [Zr(η-C5H5)2CI(OR)]4; 1 is a source of the similarly lipophilic crystalline [N[graphic ommitted])]2 and trans-[R[graphic ommitted])2], and 4 of the heterotrimetallic complexes trans-[M(CO)n CI2_n(RO)Zr(η-C5H5)2CI}2](M Rh and n 1 or M Pd andn 0).

  Reaction of the platinum(0) complex [Pt(LL)︹}2(μ-LL)] [LL = (ViMe2Si)2O] with PR3 (R = C6H4Me-p or C6H11-c) or PPh2CH2CBu2tOH yields, by displacement of the bridging vinylsiloxane ligand, complexes having both a phosphine and a vinylsiloxane as co-ligands. There is evidence for interaction between the platinum atom and the OH moiety in [Pt(LL)︹(PPh2CH2CBu2tOH)].
