New optically active bidentate phosphines, (S,S)- and (R,R)-2,7-di-tert-butyl-9,9-dimethyl-4,5-bis(methylphenylphosphino)xanthenes ((S,S)-1 and (R,R)-1), were prepared through resolution of the corresponding phosphine oxides using (R,R)-(−)-dibenzoyl-tartaric acid and a preliminary experiment on asymmetric synthesis using an allyl substrate proved the utility of the new bidentate phosphines.
新的旋光性双齿膦,(S,S)-和(R,R)-2,7-二叔丁基-9,9-二甲基-4,5-双(甲基苯基膦基)氧杂蒽((S,S) -1和(R,R)-1 )是通过使用(R,R)-(-)-二苯甲酰基-酒石酸拆分相应的氧化膦而制备的,并且使用烯丙基底物进行不对称合成的初步实验证明了其实用性新的双齿膦。
