  描述了合成2-萘酚4的方法。已经实现了2-溴苄基溴与三丁基烯丙基锡烷的羰基Stille偶联反应，以令人满意的至优异的产率制备了2-溴苄基β，γ-不饱和酮2。2-溴苄基β，γ-不饱和酮2的异构化可以在碱性条件下容易地产生2-溴苄基α，β-不饱和酮3。2-溴苄基α，β-不饱和酮3可以通过分子内Heck反应以令人满意的良好收率转化为2-萘酚4。
