Die Hydantoinderivate lassen sich als Aktivatoren für anorganische Persauerstoffverbindungen verwenden und zeigen eine Bleichleistung, welche vielfach jene des TAED übertrifft. Weiterer Gegenstand sind die erfindungsgemäßen Aktivatoren enthaltende Bleich-, Wasch-, Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel.(EN) The invention relates to hydantoin derivatives of general formula (I) in which n is 1 or 2 and R is H, alkoxycarbonyl or acyl. 2-N-acyldihydropyrrolo[1,2-climidazole-1,3,5-trione is the preferred derivative, the acyl groups being a lower alkanoyl or phenyl. These hydantoin derivatives can be used as activators for inorganic peroxy compounds and exhibit a bleaching power which is several times that of tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED). On emploie de préférence un 2-N-acyle-dihydro-pyrrolo[1,2-c]imidazol-1,3,5-trion, dans lequel l'acyle représente un alcanoyle inférieur, ou un phényle. Ces dérivés de l'hydantoïne peuvent être utilisés comme activateurs pour des composés peroxydés inorganiques et ils présentent un pouvoir de blanchiment plusieurs fois supérieur à celui de la TAED.
