of p-(3-methyl-5-phenylpyrazole-1)benzene-sulfonylurea and p-(4-bromo-3-methyl-5-phenylpyrazole-1)benzene-sulfonylurea derivatives were prepared for evaluation as hypoglycemic agents. Preliminary biological testing revealed that the new compounds possess potent antidiabetic activity.
