A facile synthesis of 1,3-difunctionalized 2-sulfonamidopropane derivatives by practical and novel reactions of N-(2,3-dibromopropyl)-aryl(alkyl)sulfonamide with substituted thiourea or oxime derivatives in the presence of MeONa without catalyst is described. Graphical abstract
