  N-Alkyl 2,2-dialkyl-1-methoxycyclopropylamines undergo a pyrolytic fragmentation into alkylsicyanides, methanol, 1,1-dialkylethylenes and novel α,β-unsaturated ketimines. Synthetic methods were developed for the generation of the latter 1-aza-1,3-dienes.
