Aziridines are used as intermediates for the regioselective synthesis of fluorine containing β-amino phosphine oxides and β-amino phosphonates. Amino phosphorus derivatives can also be obtained from ketoximes derived from phosphine oxides and phosphonates with sodium borohydride.
