Reaction of [Ti(OPri)4] with the bidentate ligand (CH3)2NCH2CH2O− (DMEA) followed by controlled hydrolysis yields the new tetranuclear compound [Ti4O4(DMEA)8] involving a novel Ti4O4 central core and three different bonding modes of the DMEA ligand.
