The reactions of 9,10-diphenylanthracene cation radical (DPA+·) with water and alcohols in acetonitrile (AN) were studied using a novel column-electrolytic stopped-flow spectrophotometric method. The reaction was first-order with respect to DPA+· in all reactions.
