Ruthenium Complexes with an Anthyridine‐based Ligand. Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity

Complexation of 2,7‐bis(2‐pyridinyl)‐9‐phenylanthyridine (4) with [RuCl2(CO)3(THF)] and [(η6‐p‐cymene)RuCl2]2 provided the mono‐nuclear complex [(4)Ru(CO)3Cl][RuCl3(CO)3] (5) and the dinuclear complex [(4)Ru2(p‐cymene)2Cl2] (6), respectively.
