    4-(pentafluorosulfanyl)benzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate salt was synthesized and isolated. The pentafluorosulfanyl salt was examined in a wide assortment of reactions to form novel SF 5 -bearing alkenes, alkynes, and biaryl derivatives using Heck-Matsuda, Sonogashira, and Suzuki coupling protocols. Dediazoniation of the salt furnished the corresponding p-SF 5 —C 6 H 4 X,C 6 H 4 OS(O)(CF 3 )═NSO 2 CF 3 , and p-SF 5 —C 6 H 4 —NTf 2 derivatives. The azide derivative p-SF 5 —C 6 H 4 N 3 entered into click chemistry with phenylacetylenes to furnish the corresponding triazoles. Various SF 5 -bearing alkenes were synthesized by coupling reactions using a metal catalyst. Fluorodediazoniation selectively furnished the fluoro derivative p-SF 5 —C 6 H 4 F. Homolytic dediazoniation gave the unsymmetrical biaryls, thus demonstrating the broad utility of pentafluorosulfanyl diazonium salts as building blocks of SF5-aromatics that are in high demand in many branches of chemistry including biomedicine and materials chemistry.

    An easy operable method of detecting phosphatase which comprises a step for the production of a dye to obtain an azo dye by the reaction of phosphatase in a tissue or cell or on chromosome with a 2'-naphthol AS phosphate, e.g. 3-hydroxy- N-2-biphenyl-2-naphthalenecarboxamide phosphate ester, followed by the reaction between the 2'-naphthol AS phosphate with a diazonium salt; an excitation step for the irradiation of excited light to the azo dye; and a detection step for the detection of fluorescence which is emitted upon irradiation of the excited light. The fluorescence is intense and lasts for a long time.

    O-(perfluoroalkyl)dibenzofuranium salt derivatives represented by the following general formula (1), (wherein Rf in said general formula (1) is a C1-10 perfluoroalkyl group and X- is a conjugate base of a Brönsted acid). Intermediates for preparation of the derivatives, a preparation method thereof, perfluoroalkylating agents comprising the said derivatives and the said preparation intermediates, and a perfluoroalkylating method. The present invention can provide O-(perfluoroalkyl)dibenzofuranium salt derivatives as perfluoroalkylating agents which show good yields in the perfluoroalkylation reaction, a wide range of application and comparatively stable properties with repressed self-decomposition, the intermediate for preparation thereof, a preparation method for the intermediates thereof, the perfluoroalkylating agents and a perfluoroalkylation method.
