Alkoxo-bridged copper(II) complexes with 2-(alkylthio)ethanols, Cu(RSCH2CH2O)X (R=CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, i-C3H7, s-C4H9, t-C4H9; X=Br, Cl), have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared and electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibilities (80–300 K).
