The synthesis and characterization of pyrazine-bridged polymers of iron(II/III), ruthenium(II/III), and osmium(II/III) octaethylporphyrin (dubbed "shish-kebab" polymers) are presented. Optical and dc conductivity measurements reveal that the ruthenium and osmiumpolymers, when partially oxidized, are highly conductive.
