The present invention provides a monomer, a dendrimer and a polymer having an electroluminescence (EL) feature. They exhibit the phenomenon of Excited-State Intramolecular Proton Transfer (ESIPT) in the solid or liquid state and comprise the quinolinic compounds exerting the electroluminescence and lasing characteristics.
