luminescence tests show that an excellent linear relationship between temperature and emission intensity in the ranges of 77–298 K and 77–200 K could be observed for compounds 1 and 2, respectively. The wide temperaturesensing range especially for 1 implies that they could act as promising ratiometric fluorescence molecular thermometers.

This work reports fascinating MOFs which can efficiently and selectively adsorb organic dye methyl orange (MO) and develop a new class of materials for the adsorption of dyes in water.
A series of heterometallic [3 x 3] grids have been synthesized readily through a one-pot solyothermal reaction. Given metal ions carrying distinct electronic, magnetic, and optical information can be addressed precisely at specific locations in the array.
