The reactions of perfluoroalkyl- and perfluoroacyl-iminosulfur difluorides with chlorine monofluoride result in the preparation of perfluoroalkyldichloroamines and a new class of compounds N,N-dichloroperfluoroamides, RfC(O)NCl2, via the elimination of SF4.
