The addition of "BrF", using N-bromoamides in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, to a number of aliphatic alkenes has been studied. As expected, the bromine atom in the resultant vicinal fluorobromides exhibited relatively low reactivity in nucleophilic and hydrogenolytic reactions.

The present invention relates to a non-aqueous electrolyte additive, and a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery including the same and a lithium secondary battery, and particularly, to a non-aqueous electrolyte additive having a nitrile group and a propargyl group, and a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery, which include the non-aqueous electrolyte additive so that capacity and cycle lifespan characteristics at high temperature can be improved.
Reduction of α - substituted succinonitriles with diisobutylaluminum hydride: a facile method for the synthesis of 3-substituted pyrroles

Treatment of four representative α - substituted succinonitriles (2) with diisobutylaluminumhydride, followed by hydrolysis of each reaction mixture with aqueous sodium dihydrogen phosphate, afforded 3-substituted pyrroles (4) in approximately 50% yield.
