An Fe(III)-catalyzed hydroallylation of unactivated alkenes with Morita–Baylis–Hillman adducts via an Fe-catalyzed process is described. A variety of alkenes, including mono-, di-, and trisubstituted alkenes, could all smoothly convert to structural diversified cinnamates in this protocol.
